Vehicle Display Cluster (Touch Screen Model):

The touch screen based Vehicle Display Cluster is an electronic device that monitors the Engine Control Unit (ECU) in a car and displays the information on a TFT Display. The device displays various parameters digitally that comes out of the ECU.

The parameters displayed are,

• Vehicle Speed in km/hr
• Engine Speed in RPM
• Motor Speed in RPM
• Battery Voltage in Volts
• Battery Current in Ampere
• Alternator Current in Ampere
• Motor Current in Ampere
• Gear status
• Fault indicators
• Operating Modes

The values for each parameter given by the ECU are CAN messages that is received by the device using the CAN protocol and displayed The unit reads data from CAN network through which the electronic measuring units are networked. Electronic Dash implements CAN standard protocol to communicate with other units on a vehicle. The Electronic Dash board uses powerful and cost effective ARM 7 family processor which embeds CAN protocol engine to connect to CAN network.
